D.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Developmental Disabilities), often abbreviated as D.Ed. Spl.Ed. (IDD), is a two-year diploma programme that prepares teachers to educate and support children with intellectual disabilities and developmental challenges in both special and inclusive educational settings. The programme combines classroom learning with practical training, enabling students to understand the cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and educational needs of children with developmental disabilities.
